Intro To Tech Course  (United States)

Thinking of Technical Diving? Intro to Tech!
Virginia Scuba is pleased to announce this years first session of TDI Intro to Tech!  Are you interested in technical diving but not sure where to start? Want to find out what technical diving is all about before jumping in with both feet? Or, maybe you just want to improve your skills without going full blown tech?  Then this is the course for you! General topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Physics and physiology of a tech dive
  • Gear configuration:  equipment selection, options, and trim
  • Dive planning: tables, software, computers, gas management, environmental considerations, etc
  • In-water skills practice:  proper entry/exit, S-drill, equipment familiarization, SAC rate calculations, various fining/propulsion techniques, advanced buoyancy control, lift bag deployment, emergency strategies, situational awareness
Dates are May 23, 24 & 30th. Student manuals are in stock and space is limited to come by today!
